HRU Hydrostatic Release

$99.99 (Incl. Gst 10%)
Weight: 1kg
How many ?

The hydrostatic unit works by releasing the raft at a depth of about 3 metres.

The liferaft which is buoyant even inside the container will proceed to float to the surface. The pressure on the painter line causes the raft to start inflating.

A weak link is built into the painter so that the greater buoyancy of the inflating liferaft breaks the painter at this point.

The raft then continues to float to the surface and fully inflate.
