Aurora Inshore Flare Kits
• When the Red Hand Flare is fired at night, it can be seen up to 10 Km away at sea level and up to 20 km away by an aircraft. They can also be used in daylight over shorter distances. For day use only, the Orange Handsmoke Mk3′s unique smoke pellet formulation produces a persistent vivid and expanding cloud of dense orange smoke for 60 seconds. The smoke can be seen from 4 Km away in a 10 knot breeze, at sea level, and even further from an aircraft. Kit consists of 2 x Red Handflare Mk2 (for night use) 2 x Orange Handsmoke Mk3 (for day use).

Aurora Orange hand Smoke
• Australian Standards Approved Particularly suitable for yachts, powerboats and personal watercraft (PWC’s). This hand-held signal produces a dense orange smoke for daylight distress signaling.

Aurora Red Handflare
• For night use in particular, but can be used in daytime for raising alarm and pinpointing your position. Use only when potential rescuers are in sight. Burns for 60 seconds at 15,000 candela. Visible up to 10Kms on a clear dark night.

Aurora White Handflare
• Designed for use as a collision warning signal or for illuminating small areas where an intense white light is required, Burning time: minimum 60 seconds at 10,000 candela. The White Handflare ignition system is the same as for the Red Handflare Mk2 as above.

Day & Night Signals
• A very compact personal survival signal incorporating a red flare at one end (for use at night), and a dense orange smoke at the other (for daylight). The flare end is ribbed to aid identification at night, and both ends are fully waterproofed with ‘O’ ring seals. Either end can be fired independently and the signal can be doused in water after firing, allowing the unused end to be stowed until required.
Ideal for divers.

Lifesmoke Mk 8
• Description And Method Of Operation A buoyant orange smoke signal safe to operate on petrol or oil covered water. The signal consists of a metal case containing smoke composition and is fitted with a simple pull-cord ignition. Application Daylight distress signaling. Required in ship’s lifeboats and liferafts, also suitable for use in other commercial and recreational boats.

Manoverboard
• Description And Method Of Operation Manoverboard is a combined day/ night marker. Safe to use on petrol or oil-covered water.
It is designed for attachment to an emergency lifebuoy by a lanyard, and when released indicates its position by dense orange smoke and 2 lithium battery powered light. Unit is constructed of corrosion-resistant materials. Fully weather protected until operated. Applications
1. Automatic emergency lifebuoy marker. Connected to a bridge mounted emergency lifebuoy and automatically activated when lifebuoy is released.
2. Manual emergency lifebuoy marker. Connected to a bulkhead mounted lifebuoy and released manually.

Seamarker Dye
• SEAMARK is a new concept in marine dye markers used for daytime emergency distress signaling and search & rescue marking. The Unique feature of SEAMARK is that the fluorescein is bonded in a buoyant soluble matrix allowing a rapid spread over a large area and slow release on the water surface, where maximum U.V light activation of the fluorescein assures a brilliant spotting mark.
